Corrections policy

Introduction and Purpose of the Correction Policy

The “Alliance” tattoo studio strives to provide accurate and useful information on its website about tattoos: styles, meanings of symbols, design ideas, and care tips. Our content is dedicated exclusively to the art of tattooing. The purpose of this policy is to demonstrate how we transparently and responsibly respond to content errors, such as factual inaccuracies, technical details about tattoo styles and meanings, or descriptions of services. This ensures customer trust and complies with consumer protection principles as provided by the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection” and general standards of information responsibility. We emphasize transparency to show that errors are corrected quickly and professionally, following the principles of E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).

Error Classification

Errors in our content are classified by types related exclusively to tattoo topics:

  • Factual Errors: Inaccuracies in tattoo symbol meanings, historical facts about styles (for example, a different interpretation of the “dragon” tattoo symbol in Eastern culture).
  • Technical Errors: Mistakes in the descriptions of tattooing techniques, materials, or processes.
  • Service Descriptions: Inaccuracies in the characteristics of the salon’s services, such as session duration or tattoo aftercare.
  • Typographical Errors: Minor text errors such as spelling or grammatical mistakes that do not affect meaning but reduce content quality.

We do not consider errors unrelated to tattoo topics, such as legal aspects not connected to our services.

Error Detection Process

Errors are detected through simple and accessible channels adapted to our tattoo studio’s communication style:

  • Internal Monitoring: Our tattoo artists and administrators regularly review website content, checking the relevance of information based on their experience and industry trends.
  • Client Reports: You can report an error in any convenient way – via messengers (e.g., Telegram, Viber), chat on the website, or social networks (Instagram, Facebook). We do not use email or formal channels to keep communication quick and informal.
  • Other Sources: Information may also come from tattoo industry partners, experts, or professional resources (for example, tattoo artist forums or specialized websites).

Correction Procedure

We respond to errors simply and efficiently, without delays:

  1. Receiving a Report: When you report an error, we immediately thank you through the same channel (messenger, chat, or social network).
  2. Verification: The information is checked by our tattoo expert (editor with over 10 years of experience) or administrator, consulting reliable sources (e.g., tattoo books or direct discussions with experienced tattoo artists).
  3. Approval: The correction is approved by the site administrator, recording the author, date/time, and source reference for E-E-A-T.
  4. Updating: We update the text directly on the website without unnecessary highlights (such as red color) or complicated processes.

We do not use CRM systems or reports – we simply record and correct. If an error is critical, we may temporarily hide the article for updating.

Correction Deadlines

Corrections are made quickly to ensure the relevance of the content:

  • Regular errors: Within 1–2 days (often on the same day).
  • More complex cases (requiring source verification): Maximum of 4 days. This allows us to respond promptly while maintaining customer trust.

Version Archive Maintenance

Although we do not publicly store full previous versions (to avoid confusion), we maintain an internal archive for E-E-A-T purposes. It includes:

  • Previous text, correction date, author, and sources.
  • Access: The archive is available only to employees. Clients may request an excerpt via messenger if it concerns an important change. For other inquiries, we recommend using the public web archiving service web.archive.org

Instructions for Editors and Staff

  • Verification: Immediately check the error upon receiving a report.
  • Correction: Make changes on the website and add a note with E-E-A-T elements (author, date, source).
  • Communication: Thank the client in chat or messenger; if the change is significant, send a sample message.
  • Documentation: Save an internal record in the archive without public reporting.

Transparency, Standards, and E-E-A-T

We ensure transparency by adhering to consumer protection laws (Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection”) and information responsibility standards. Each correction follows the E-E-A-T principles:

  • Experience: Corrections are made by professionals with real tattooing experience.
  • Expertise: Verified with expert commentary from industry specialists.
